KABA-SD Mentorship Program 2017-2018

September 28th, 2017 No comments

The KABA-SD Mentorship Program connects law students with practicing attorneys in the San Diego area and serves as an opportunity for law students and attorneys to network and further develop their professional skills.  This program not only matches a law student with an attorney to serve as a mentor, but, as a new feature to this year’s mentorship program, KABA-SD will implement a new “family system” where attorneys and students will be part of a larger group and have the opportunity to make close-knit connections with other “family members”.  Please be on the look out for our mentorship mixer event on October 26 (location TBD).  We hope you will join us!

Current law students and recent law student graduates: If you are interested in participating in KABA-SD’s Mentorship Program and getting connected with more experienced attorneys, please fill out the attached Mentee application form and send it to kaba.sd@gmail.com by no later than October 16, 2017.  Please note that the KABA-SD Mentorship Program is open only to KABA-SD members, so if you are not yet a member, please remember to also fill out the attached membership form and send to kaba.sd@gmail.com.  The $10 membership fee for current law students can be paid through our PayPal account on our website at http://kabasd.org/index.php/join-kaba-sd/.

Experienced attorneys: If you are interested in giving back to the next generation of attorneys, we urge you to fill out the attached Mentor application form and send it to kaba.sd@gmail.com. We similarly ask you to fill out the attached membership form (if you haven’t done so already) and send it to kaba.sd@gmail.com and remit the appropriate membership fee payment through our PayPal account on our website at http://kabasd.org/index.php/join-kaba-sd/.
